Zonneveld ingenieurs has all information available to be able to inform its clients about sustainability. The use of materials causes approx. 25% of environmental impact, against approx. 75% by energy use. New energy concepts can be applied to almost all new building projects. Zonneveld ingenieurs believes that it is the use of materials that can make the difference in scoring high in sustainability.

Zonneveld ingenieurs has developed a programme for the calculation of environmental impact of materials, with which a quick-scan can be made. The programme, based on LCA, is able to make a detailled comparison between different building systems and is perfectly complementary to GreenCalc, GPR-building and Breeam.
