B-Tower, Rotterdam
Presently, in the center of Rotterdam, the so called B-Tower is developed at a prominent location.
The new building will be built next to the State monument de Bijenkorf (litt. Beehive) near the Beurstraverse. Its height will be approximately 70 m.
The main bearing structure will be made entirely of concrete. A few columns, that need to absorb heavy loads, will be made in high-strength concrete.
Stability is provided by a concrete core (2 elevators) combined with three concrete walls.
