Oval Tower, Amsterdam
The project is located next to a residential-shopping centre. Under the entire project an underground garage has been made.
The high-rise is largely constructed in prefabricated concrete, however, the stability measures consists of a steel outrigger construction.
This enabled the core of the building to be less heavy and the facade to be used as a stabilizing element.
The Oval Tower is currently being redeveloped. Among other structural changes a new canopy and various voids are made.
