Ceramique The Tower, Maastricht
The tower on the Ceramique Terrain is a striking 17-storey building. Each floor has three apartments except the top floor which has one large apartment with stunning views of the city. This tower is the link between the old town and the new Céramique project. Elevation differences were solved at the edges with retaining walls, stairs and ramps. The present tower is composed of two mutually rotated upright slender volumes. The two bodies are different in materialization; zinc on the left, white (Thassos) marble on the right.
